A good basic hotel, with a comfy bed and pillow, at a very reasonable price, but DO NOT accept any room near Reception because you won't get any sleep, because the staff and, I assume, gusts like to talk loudly all night.

We stayed at ibis budget London Barking for a weekend for the Jay-Z concert and had a lovely stay. We came straight from the airport after our holiday and arrived at around 1pm. Check-in is normally at 3pm, but we were so tired after travelling and the staff noticed this. They kindly gave us a room that was already ready, so we could check in straight away. This was such a big plus for us and we really appreciated the service. For a low-budget hotel, we were genuinely impressed by how welcoming and helpful the service was. The room was clean and comfortable, and overall we had a really pleasant stay. Thank you to the staff for making our arrival so easy after a long journey. We would happily stay again!

I booked my Double room about 6 weeks before this trip. When I arrived, shortly after check-in time. I was given a Twin room. When I asked about this with reception they said they had no way to make it a double. I asked for a double duvet at least, so I could manage - I was given a 3rd single duvet. Entirely unhelpful - If it wasn't because the room was so cheap I would have put up for of a fuss. Room's walls had peeling wallpaper, the Bed's were creaky and felt like they would collapse. Generally quite uncomfortable.

Hotel comfortable and clean but messed up bookings demanding payment for room already paid for and leaving threatening message demanding attendance at reception when we were out. Then later denying it until we showed proof. no apology. Rats on approach.

The check in and interactions with staff were really good as my room keycard didn't work so I couldn't get into my room. They quickly sorted out a new keycard and I was back into my room. The only real problem I would say is the TV. The Freeview channels are out of date and on the wrong number channels. I believe that it's been years since that they've been updated.
