A very last minute booking due to work in the wharf overrunning. Arrived late, after 21:30. Reception staff were amazing. Super friendly and very personable, really lovely people. Room was clean and smart. Exactly what I would have hoped for and more. Great place. Will definitely return next time work in the wharf overruns.

Unfortunately, our stay was quite disappointing, mainly because of the extremely poor sound insulation in the room on 8th floor. We could clearly hear loud music coming from a neighbouring room, as well as conversations and people talking in the corridor even with our door fully closed. The noise was intrusive enough that we had difficulty resting in our room in the evening. For a hotel, particularly one at this price point, I would expect much better sound insulation. We contacted the hotel during our stay and the team was responsive in addressing the loud music, which we appreciated. However, even after the music was turned off, we could still clearly hear conversations and general noise from neighbouring rooms and the corridor. We also asked whether there was a quieter room available, but unfortunately did not receive a response to this request during the evening until after we go to the reception and insisted for a room change. The hotel itself may have some positive aspects, but being able to properly rest is a fundamental part of a hotel stay. Unfortunately, the level of noise we experienced significantly affected our stay, and I would strongly recommend that the hotel look into improving the sound insulation between rooms and around the corridors.

The stay the room the food was brilliant The staff friendly and helpful. Took the wrong card details for a room which was being used by another member of our party Booked breakfast for 3 people and charged the wrong amount When contacted the hotel was told to busy to deal with the issue and to send email Email sent no reply received This is a data protection issue and is worrying that details can be used by another customer and the issue given a attitude of not being bothered
