The environment is well kept and you have friendly staff

Our family had a wonderful stay. The kids especially loved the pool and thoroughly enjoyed their time at the hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience, and the entire family truly enjoyed it. We will definitely be coming back!

Beautiful and consistent

We had a wonderful stay at Novotel Dubai Gold District and were very pleased with the overall experience. The hotel was comfortable, well located, and the service throughout our stay was consistently warm, professional, and welcoming. A special commendation goes to Moataz at the front desk, who assisted us during both check-in and check-out. He provided genuinely five-star service from start to finish. He was courteous, efficient, accommodating, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. His professionalism and attention to guests really stood out and left a very positive impression on us. We would also like to recognize Mr. Dileepa, the bellhop, who was always ready to help us with our luggage and anything else we needed. He was consistently friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. His assistance made things much easier, especially since we were traveling with several bags. The breakfast was also excellent, with a wide variety of choices. We especially appreciated the selection of Middle Eastern, South Asian, and African breakfast dishes, which made the buffet feel more diverse and interesting than the usual hotel breakfast. There were plenty of options, and we looked forward to it each morning. The rest of the hotel staff also deserve recognition for being very warm, helpful, and welcoming. Everyone we encountered made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay. The people, especially Moataz and Mr. Dileepa, made the experience even more memorable. We would gladly stay at Novotel Dubai Gold District again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dubai.

This hotel is nice , I like room - was clean , spacious and cozy. The swimming pool is also very comfortable , friendly guys work there. I really liked the welcome tea in the lobby—it’s great that you treat guests to such a delicious drink. I was upset at the check-in, it takes approx 15-20 minutes, because staff try to find my booking and clarify how my reservation was made (reservation department put wrong booking channel (as agency) , though I booked via Accor Hotel. The biggest disappointment - no one informed me by mail /. messages about the hotel change !!!! I booked Mercure and dream to visit the swimming pool in the evening with music as year before. When I come - swimming pool in Novotel was almost closed. I didn't find any information on the website stating that the pool's operating hours have been reduced. I would like to note a pleasant man at the front desk (it seems like supervisor - he helped at the check in) and guy who work in the evening in 3 sept (I forget the name but remember that he works in Mercure) - he is a real professional. Very smiley, kindness and hospitable. Madam Ann at the checkout time was unwelcome. Maybe due to the mistakes of reservation department (with my booking channel) i still didn’t have my Accor points. Please, ensure that the accor points are credited shortly. Would be grateful , thank u Wish your hotel all the best

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall service was excellent. The breakfast was especially good, with a nice variety of fresh and tasty options. A beautiful way to start the day! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice place

Receptionist lady ( Judith) she was amazing . As for the room there are many things to be improve . I booked for 2 adults and there is only one bath towel and one hand towel . I have to call and request . As a standard there should be two full set . No facial tissue at all . No slippers, no bathrobe , no iron but there is ironboard . When I request for the slippers the staff brought only one and he said it is finish . Such a well known hotel you really don’t have slippers to provide . I’m so surprise. If management team could look into those kind of matters to improve guest satisfaction. I stayed many hotels in Dubai this is the first time I experienced like this situation and room condition. Thank you .

Had a great stay with this property with easy access and has an amazing staff

The breakfast was nice, good food, and quiet ambiance. Pool water temperature was perfect! And the staff from the restaurant and pool side are extremely helpful. Rooms were good. But we asked for ameneties such as slippers, we request for two. But they only give one pair. Again, request was sent thru the operator, they only give one pair. Tray charge was fine for cutleries but requesting 4 bottles of water, and it will be chargeable is ridiculous. So we need to request every 30 mins for 2, and it will not chargeable, but 4 bottles at the same time, it is charegeable...? However, upon check in, it took the guest service agents 15-20 mins to notice us. There was no queue each desks. Atleast 1 guest or 1 family each. Though they were occupied by the other guests with their check in, some of them has 5 minutes to notice us but theyre not acknowledging us. Moreover, a big thanks to Mariam, she has been a great help and she was helpful with our requests even though the crowd is getting high in the lobby. On our last day, by 11:30am 08/29, our cards dont work so we have to pass by reception to have it reactivated, which was confusing because I know that the keys automatically deactivate at 12:00nn. But Mr. Ali has updated our check out time at 2:00pm. The first reactivation, Mariam helped us recativate it, we went up and it still didnt work. The second time we passed by, all three desks were occupied. So I had to wait for some time. Mariam, noticed me waiting so she called me and I told her this is the second time the keys were not working and requested to have it reactivated. She took our cards and I sat down to wait. 15-20 mins passed by, the Filipina receptionist was free and she asked me if I need something, I told her that our keys was not working so we have to come 2 times to get it reactivated, I gave the keys to Mariam. Upon checking she told me "we were checked out". At approximately 12nn. Ali heard us and he told me that he has our keys and we were indeed, checked out. I told him he was the one who gave us a late check out at 2pm. So I was really confused what happened. We didnt want a check out or whatever. We just wanted to have our keys reactivated. Anyway, they gave us new keys. It was really inconvenient for us to experience this kind of dilemma. I understand that some of the guests on the reception can be furious and impatient and that can impact them while working under pressure. But I was frustrated on how they handle things. Pressure and different demands from different guests can be overwhelming, and I try to sympathize with them. However, this specific dilemma was not it. I'm not asking for any compensation, but this is just a feedback from a fellow Heartist.

Variety at breakfast is very bad. Overall staff helpfulness through out the hotel could do with improvement however reception staff were lovely. Can’t believe I was told I’d be charged for a spoon which is a basic requirement. Pros of the hotel it’s clean and comfortable swimming pool is decent and the over all decoration is quite modern. Through out the hotel it does smell which is something they could improve by having scents placed around or picking up peoples food that is left outside their room promptly to avoid foul smells lingering.
