The balcony was dirty. People were smoking in the adult pool. Drinks were served to underage boys. Entertainment does not change year after year.

Great pools, lovely selection of restaurants, room was spacious, beds extremely comfortable and the spa was amazing - best I've experienced to date. Staff were courteous and considerate - nothing was too much for them. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would return if the opportunity arose.

Overall, my stay was good, largely thanks to the genuinely excellent service from the staff. However, the rooms are definitely showing their age. The furniture and bedding looked very used, the towels were old, and there was noticeable rust in the bathroom. The mini-bar was also quite poor, stocked only with soft drinks. Additionally, the breakfast at the main restaurant was just average in both quality and taste. It's a solid 7/10, but with some room renovations and food improvements, it could easily be a much higher rating.

I would like to share some feedback regarding my recent experience, as there were several issues that significantly affected my stay:
1. Extremely lengthy check-in process:
The check-in process took almost an hour. When I arrived, the staff initially did not know the password required to access the computer and retrieve my reservation details, which caused an unnecessary delay.
2. Insufficiently trained check-in staff:
The check-in staff appeared to be poorly trained and struggled to communicate with guests clearly and professionally. The overall experience felt disorganized and lacked the level of professionalism I would expect from a hotel of this standard.
3. Very slow check-in procedures:
Despite having three counters operating, the check-in process remained extremely slow. Staff repeatedly had to consult their supervisor regarding basic system-related questions, resulting in guests waiting more than 40 minutes on average. I observed considerable frustration among other guests waiting in line as well.
4. Poor-quality pillows and lack of follow-up:
The pillows provided in the room were extremely uncomfortable and, in my opinion, did not meet reasonable international hotel standards. I was assured on five separate occasions that new pillows would be sent to my room, yet no one ever came to deliver them. The lack of follow-through was particularly disappointing.
5. Unprofessional behavior at the buffet:
I also experienced an unpleasant interaction with a member of staff working at the coffee and juice counter during breakfast. I observed several tourists requesting freshly squeezed orange juice, which the staff member prepared for them. When I made the same request, I was told to either ask someone else or wait approximately 15 minutes for the regular orange juice to be brought out from the kitchen. When I pointed out that he had just freshly prepared juice for the guests immediately before me, he simply walked away without responding. I found this behavior extremely rude and unprofessional.
Overall, these issues reflect problems with staff training, communication, service efficiency, and follow-through. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and uses it to improve the guest experience, as these are basic service standards that I would expect to be consistently maintained.

I was at the hotel from September 17 till September 18 the reception is so nice the staff is good too.. but at night around 9pm I’ll be back to room R15 .. 3 big cockroachs at the wall.. one of them fly on My fiancée hand she never stop crying.. I called the front desk.. and stay outside the room for like half an hour.. they came and took a picture for them.. they changed the room twice.. it take more than an hour.. I did not make any activity at night.. they just gave me late check out.. I swear I spent all night just make my fiancé calm down.. by the way.. we never open the balcony door..

My stay at Mövenpick Resort & Spa Dead Sea was truly disappointing and far below expectations. As a loyal, frequent guest of the Mövenpick brand across multiple cities (including Amman) and as an Accour membership, this experience was shocking and certainly did not feel like a 5-star hotel.
While I. must commend the reception and restaurant staff for their very good service, the room quality was unacceptable. Despite booking the highest tier within the guest room category, the room was outdated, poorly maintained, and fell drastically short of standard quality. The hotel is in urgent need of a renovation.

The style of the hotel is beautiful, amazing views and spa is good. However the food quality should improve breakfast and dinner were not so great. I had two separate bookings, and I explained this at the reception when checking in for 2 nights, they confirmed everything was all set however on my second day there was an issue which was sorted thanks to the help of staff from the Spa.
