We get our reservation through wondergifts website and it has to include breakfast with the reservation but unfortunately when we asked the reception they said that it’s not included and they will figure it out with the website, but they ended up saying that they can’t fix it anyhow and we had no other chance so we went and paid to have our breakfast

Really good but on the ground floor to take a taxi, i asked put the location into app but they put wrong location and i paid extra that was terrible experience. Other than that it was really good

I went there on my birthday, the check-in staff was really welcoming and I received a happy birthday cake which was a nice touch. The hotel itself is modern, new and contains all the expected amenities. High floor rooms are quiet with great views. The building itself contains plenty of restaurants with great food.

The Girl at reception in the beginning was not friendly , cold , not welcoming at all gived me dirty room , thanks to ahmad later who fixed the problem and even make us an upgrade

Not good And the reason is there someone working in the hotel that open the door on me , (while I’m naked ) And the only reason I didn’t make it a big problem as There is a nice guy who’s working there too. And also I know by law I can make it a big problem!! So if anyone else ask me about the the hotel of course they will know what I’ve been through

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and the staff were wonderful - especially Reception and Valet's 5*+ for all of them. I would suggest at breakfast an explanation of how everything worked, I was unaware that tea / coffee orders would be taken at the table, so the barista hade to tell me. Was very quiet even being surrounded by construction, and the 6 loopy loops I got used to.

Thank you for your email and for giving me the opportunity to share my feedback. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The hotel was clean and well maintained, the room was neat, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The view from the room was also as expected. However, I would like to highlight a few areas that were disappointing, particularly for our family. We were expecting a kids’ pool, and we had even prepared swimming suits and accessories for our children so they could enjoy the pool during our stay. Unfortunately, there was no dedicated kids’ pool available. My wife was also looking forward to the live cooking experience at breakfast, but unfortunately, this was not available either. In addition, reaching our room required using two different elevators, which was quite inconvenient, especially when traveling with children. I hope you will take this feedback into consideration, as these improvements could make the experience much more enjoyable for families in the future.

The hotel was clean and beautifully maintained, and all staff—from Reception and Housekeeping to Security and Maintenance—were courteous, helpful, and responsive. Even a minor AC issue late at night was attended to promptly. I had the pleasure of staying at SO/ Uptown Dubai Hotel in JLT for two nights on a business trip, and the experience exceeded all my expectations. The rooms are beautifully designed, exceptionally comfortable, and equipped with excellent facilities that make both work and relaxation effortless. The buffet breakfast is outstanding, offering an impressive variety of delicious options to suit every taste. I also appreciated the generous 12:00 noon checkout time, which provides guests with valuable peace of mind instead of feeling rushed. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is its people. Every member of staff—from the receptionists and front desk team to the restaurant staff and housekeeping—was consistently warm, friendly, helpful, and highly professional. Their genuine smiles and willingness to assist made me feel welcome throughout my stay. SO/ Uptown Dubai Hotel delivers world-class hospitality in every respect. The positives - the Portugese Restaurant Luna Lisa is outstanding. The not so positives - room service (order two nights) was underwhelming, reception (we are Diamond members) was underwhelming. Coffee on three mornings in a row in the lobby was not operational till closwe to 8am which is not ideal for a quick morning coffee sprint. Previous SO/ we've stayed out have been outstanding but due to the circular access up to sixth floor lobby via car is already offputting, the hotel needs to overdeliver to meet expectations. Currently it doesn't.

The hotel’s location was not ideal due to the ongoing construction work in the area. Entering and leaving the hotel was also very difficult and inconvenient. The breakfast was very average, and the spa was basic with no sauna. Getting from the lobby to the rooms was tiring and complicated.
