My family and I had a deeply disappointing stay at Rixos Pera Istanbul. As a hospitality professional myself, I understand that mistakes can happen, but the repeated lack of communication, attention and genuine care was unacceptable for a hotel of this level. Breakfast had been booked and paid for all guests, yet every morning we were told that it was not included. Instead of checking the reservation properly, the team repeatedly made us explain the same issue, which became embarrassing and frustrating. The check-in experience was equally disorganized. The receptionist initially told me that there was nothing left to pay and was ready to complete the check-in. I had to explain that I had paid only for breakfast and still needed to settle the room charges. This showed a worrying lack of attention to the reservation details. At check-out, the Front Office Manager focused only on checking whether we had consumed anything from the minibar. Not once did he ask how our stay had been or whether everything was satisfactory. There was no farewell, no interest and no basic hospitality. The physical condition of the room was also unacceptable. The bathroom fixture was damaged and crudely held together with tape, while the bed linen was torn. The attached photographs speak for themselves. These are not minor details that should be overlooked in a hotel positioning itself at this level. The F&B Manager was the only manager who made a genuine effort to show hospitality, although the service team clearly requires considerably more training. I would also like to acknowledge the Concierge and Guest Relations teams, who at least tried to assist us. Overall, this stay reflected poor internal communication, weak attention to detail, insufficient staff training and an alarming lack of genuine guest care. A recognised luxury hotel should deliver far better standards than this. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Rixos Pera Istanbul based on our experience.

We stayed one night then left for 3 nights we left our luggage there and returned for another night . I made a mistake booking but Maria at front desk helped me out she even upgraded us to a beautiful suite . She was so lovely and helpful she is a credit to the hotel. If I ever get back to Turkey I would definitely stay there again.

I would like to give a big thank you to Gavhar. Days before our check-in date, Gavhar made sure my mum and I was well looked after On our check-out day, Wednesday 1st July at around 1pm, we accidentally overslept. When I woke up, my head was spinning, so I called reception to ask for a late check-out. The Asian lady at the front desk (I'm sorry I didn't get the chance to ask for her name) was very kind and gave me some extra time to pack and gather my belongings. It was also nice to see Gavhar on the day on our departure date, as I truly appreciated her kindness and excellent service prior to the stay. I am very grateful for the extra time that was given to us to check out. The concierge team was excellent as well. They were always ready and anticipated anything we needed, and the doorman was also very helpful and welcoming. Thank you all for making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel did not leave up to a 5* standard. The rooms are clearly old, no A/C and that shitty fan making a lot of noise. The pizza we ordered was awful but that is fine/expected. The staff was nice and the amenities as expected.

I was a repeat customer but no longer. Room temp was 27degrees for 2/3 nights - no ac, no willingness to provide alternate room or room in another hotel. Dealt with both the weekend duty manager and hotel manager nights 1 and 2 and both promised the ac would be turned on. Neither followed through and neither returned to us with an explanation or mitigation. We had to demand another room for the 3rd night but were unable to able to/ unwilling to waste any more of our precious vacation time dealing with your incompetent manager. Will never stay here anymore and will recommend to all friends and colleagues to avoid Rixos in particular and Accor in general.

Hotel was good and room booked met our expectations. However despite the check in time being 2pm we were not even allocated a room till 3pm. Only after multiple requests stating how tired we were from the travel and wanted our room asap were we assigned our room. Service here could have been better.
