For people travelling alone, in pairs or in groups, we offer an ideal and appropriately priced shared or private accommodation in Paris - Gentilly. Located right in front of the biggest Parisian campus, the JO&JOE Paris-Gentilly is ideally located with the B line RER train that will take you directly to the center of Paris.

Located between the Porte d'Orléans and the Porte de Gentilly, a 5-minutes walk from the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris and 10-minutes from the Charlety Stadium. JO&JOE is located next to the RER B line which is directly connected to the center of Paris (20 minutes) and to Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle Airport (45 minutes). Orly Airport is only at 35 minutes. The Tramway T3 is very close too.

We had fear with bedbugs, but luckily they have leather type of mats, where u can put the washed bed clothes. The shower were good and also the breakfast. Most amazing was the super friendly personal, they made our stay the best. Thank you Jo&Joe

The reception staff were polite and attentive to requests, but the standard and deep cleaning of the rooms left much to be desired—there was dust and dirt under the mattresses. The windows lacked handles, making it impossible to open them, and the shower door was ineffective, allowing water to leak out and soak the shower area. The location was convenient for reaching Paris and its attractions.

The A/C was not working properly. It was so hot inside and window couldn't be opened. The key cards stopped working magically. The staff were super unfriendly. Also during Check-in I was being charged for the room I had already paid. I understand that towels have to be renter but there is no bathroom mat. There was a band-aid on my bed before the sheets were out. Overall it was a very bad experience and the only good thing was the price.

Was charged €4 for stoing my small backpack, a service which I expect to be free. Was told if I wanted an early check in (at 14:00) it would cost €20 which is almost the same as the shared room cost. Ridiculous.

The staff were very friendly and helped me with a bunch of questions I had. The sleeping pod was fine, just had very poor ventilation, and it looked like they had covered up a ventilation hole. That is my main critique. The other is that the upstairs kitchen needs some TLC. But yeah, I liked the front-desk people.

My private cabin was very dirty and the toilets and showers too. I dont expect space or fancy stuff but I expect at least some cleanliness. I was there for 3 Days and not at a single one of them was there someone to clean up..

I liked the atmosphere, the room and the staff… I’d stay there again. One criticism would be the lack of flexibility regarding early check-in, and our sheets weren’t on the bed – they were just folded on top of the mattress, so we had to put them on ourselves.

For a budget travel, I will highly recommend. I wish they could do just a little bit of tidying after people checkout. For anyone reading this: It is not that the place is dirty, it is clean, the bedding are clean as well. I could have appreciated it more if I could have come to a cleaner room than I left. As much as I was in a shared room, I actually felt that I had privacy. That is a 10. Maybe if you are a lady, the females only is super. "I didn't book the shared one, cannot give comments. " Location is a 10. Reception -10 Customer service is a 9.5 - I wish they could inducate in the email that you have to come to the reception to pay for late checkout, rather than giving us a link that could not allow one to submit the request. That offer/ service is good, the prize... just fine, 10 Euros to extend till 1. I was late to come back, they didn't charge me extra. Don't be like me though 😂. I called the reception when I was in Germany, they guided me on something I didn't understand when trying to book. Something to improve on: When someone has put their details on the booking page, it tells them they will pay City tax of €0.8 per day, and I was booking for 2 days, and it showed me I will need to pay €6. Could you please change this €0.8 per day and put it to €3. bla bla bla that is the actual amount? That might be confusing to people booking. - I however called and they confirmed it was 6 before I booked.

The Beds were decent, the bedrooms were not very clean. The bathrooms were very very dirty and had hair all over them. The staff was very nice and respectful but overall the facilities are not well kept.

The accommodation itself offers great value for money. However, finding bed bugs is simply unacceptable. I was given a new room after reporting the issue, which I appreciated, but it still left me wondering whether the new room was also affected. On top of that, there was an empty vape lying next to my bed, and some of the surfaces were visibly unclean and sticky. Overall, the accommodation has good potential and a great price-performance ratio, but the cleanliness and bed bug issue really need to be addressed.
