We are sorry, however, that the consistency of service did not meet expectations throughout your visit. Your bathrobes should not have been removed without being replaced, and we have shared this feedback with our Housekeeping team. We are also disappointed to hear about your breakfast experience in Club Millésime. Coffee orders should be attended to consistently, and receiving cold cooked eggs on two consecutive mornings, particularly after having to follow up twice on the first occasion, is not the standard we aim to provide. We mostly enjoyed our stay (holiday & conference) & initial welcome good. However, consistency of staff was an issue. For example, cleaning of room where our dressing gowns vanished one day. Also breakfast in the club, some times coffee orders taken immediately others we were just ignored. Had hoped to get cooked eggs most mornings but after 2 failed attempts gave up. On first day we asked twice where they were; finally delivered 2 plates of cold eggs. Was told came from other kitchen but no apology. Next day also cold.

Coffee orders should be attended to consistently, and receiving cold cooked eggs on two consecutive mornings, particularly after having to follow up twice on the first occasion, is not the standard we aim to provide. I’m a long time Platinum Accor member and was treated poorly on check-in and checkout. I rarely complain because I normally receive great service at Accor hotels but my stay felt like my loyalty to Accor and to Sofitel Wentworth was irrelevant.

Stayed overnight for my Nephews wedding. Friendly and helpful staff, Room was clean and courtyard view nice. I was able to check in before 3pm which was great.Overnight parking at Wilson Parking attendants were lovely and helpful with a good rate for Sofitel guests

Todays experience was well below par and not at the high standards you normally acheive. We waited 3 hours for our room and had to follow up on 3 occassions. No upgrades were offered - maybe it was just a businer than usual day.

This was our third stay with luxury escapes at Wentworth. Our room was not the same as our two previous stays. This was questioned. The reception lady CoCo stated that we had only been her twice and the room was the same. Showed her my app encounter on Luxury escapes and still stated No this was the room. Our last 2 rooms had a lounge area. The bed was still comfortable and pillow selection was good. The food selection overall was disappointing. Not enough for the service, limited selection, small portions. It really under delivered on our two previous stays. Self service for alcoholic drinks were not avaliable as on our two previous stays. Waiters excellent and friendly. However the tables were not wiped down once the person had left. This needed to be addressed. Two other couples also expressed their disappointment with the food quality and selection. They also based this on a previous stay with the inclusions through Luxury escapes.

We were looking forward to seeing the newly refurbished hotel and while some aspects are great, the rooms needed more attention (0750). The other thing is the lack of customer service; 5 people saying "Bonjour" as one enters doesn't make up for what as otherwise aloofness all around. Two exceptions: Louise at front desk was friendly and helpful and Flavia is housekeeping, who made up our room at 15:30 without hesitation. Too much automation takes away the 5* feeling of being cared for and looked after.

Stay was comfortable but rooms looking a little tired to be fair. The team as a whole were great! Requests for a plate of fruit and also a late check out was accommodated. Had a disappointing experience waiting for my room for an early check in. Message that the room was ready was not received. Fortunately the team member who checked me in saw me waiting and informed me my room was ready maybe quarter to 3pm on Monday 14th September. Television was not working in my room. Maintenance had to come through, whilst trouble shooting he reset the switches with no notice. Perhaps for next time, a bit of advance notice would have been helpful so I could unplug my devices. On Wednesday 16th September around 4:40pm I found myself on Level 5. I saw the Wentworth bar had staff manning it and the door was open so wandered in hoping to try my luck to get a drink. I had a less than ideal interaction with a senior team member. Initially asked if they could help me and I asked if the bar was open but was told the Wentworth space was reserved for a private event. I apologised saying I didn't realise but I really didn't appreciate team member's overtures that it was clearly stated on the signboard at the entrance of the bar. With that being said, majority of the stay went well and staff were friendly and helpful for the most part.

We are sorry, however, that you were not notified when your room became available. Once an early-arriving guest has registered and the room is ready, the promised notification should be sent promptly, and we apologise that this was missed. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the television issue. While we are glad our Engineering team attended to assist, we agree that advance notice should have been given before resetting the power so that you had the opportunity to protect or unplug your devices. Most importantly, we are disappointed to hear about your interaction at Wentworth Bar. While the space was reserved for a private event, this information should have been communicated courteously and without making you feel uncomfortable for simply asking whether the bar was open. Your comments have been shared with the relevant management team. Thank you also for your kind words about our team overall.
