Checkin and checkout was ok Restaurant and food is great The room is ok but not as expected, some pins are on walls without frames hanging. There are workers in nearby rooms doing renovation. I asked for technicians to fix the toilet but it took 2 hours to show up inspite of several calls. Beach service is great.

I had a really nice 3 night stay at Rixos Montazah Alexandria and stayed in a bungalow in the Cleopatra Garden . One of the best things is that there are several Rixos hotels next to each other and guests can use the facilities of the other hotels too. There are different beaches, pools and entertainment options, and the golf carts make it very easy to move around. The Cleopatra beach is small, quiet and feels quite private, which I really liked. The bungalow was small but very cozy and waking up with a direct sea view was amazing. The Cleopatra garden is also beautiful and has a very tropical feeling. The evening entertainment was great. DJ Novas was amazing and played really nice music. The staff were very friendly, polite and professional, and everyone I met spoke good English. Special thanks to Mariam at reception and Mario, the night receptionist In Cleopatra who were both very helpful. Overall, I had a lovely stay and really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, sea views and the fact that you can experience several Rixos properties in one stay.

Me and my wife celebrate both my birthday and our anniversary by end of September or early October. Last year we spent it in Rixos Bungalow and the experience was amazing. Starting from offering free upgrade and a customer service representative communicating through WhatsApp prior arrival and during our stay. This time I would say I’m disappointed from the service level I received, maybe because I had a fantastic stay last time and I expected similar experience. But I found difficulty in reaching out to the hotel team, although I tried multiple times through WhatsApp and through messages on booking.com but with no success. I didn’t expect another upgrade to the room, but I expected better overall customer experience Maybe I raised the bar for my expectation but I couldn’t say I had bad experiences. Still Bungalow considers as one of my favorite places to relax and enjoy the quietness

This is my 4th stay in the hotel in the last 2 yrs, and this by far was the best of them, and this was all bec. of the effort done by Gilan from Guest relationship, she made sure that everything goes smoothly starting from the checkin till the end of the trip with daily followups incase there is any issues, and bec. of this i'm planning to return again next year in June and hopefully it will be a nice stay as this one

Our stay had some great aspects, but unfortunately, there were also several issues that made the overall experience feel far from what we expected from a 5-star hotel. Our first room was 5355, which was changed to 5619 after we requested a room change. When we first entered room 5355, the door was difficult to close properly, and the room-number panel was not working, meaning we could not use the DND (Do Not Disturb) feature. Shortly afterwards, we discovered that the warm/hot water in the bathroom was not working. We contacted reception, and a technician came to fix it. However, while he was working on it, something broke and the bathroom ended up being flooded with water. Although the issue was eventually fixed, I requested to change rooms because of the overall situation. We then moved to room 5619, and surprisingly, the room-number panel was also not working there. Unfortunately, nobody fixed it before we checked out. The hot water in this room was also very weak. To get barely warm water suitable for a shower, we had to leave the water running for around 10 minutes, which is not only inconvenient but also an unnecessary waste of water. The cleanliness was another major disappointment. The bedsheet had visible stains, and the shelf above the minibar was not clean and had what appeared to be old food/bread remnants on it. This was particularly disappointing considering the standard we expected from a 5-star property. There were, however, things that genuinely made our stay enjoyable. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful, the room was spacious, and the view was absolutely beautiful. The location and overall setting of the hotel are also excellent. There was one issue with the view/room design, though: the balcony door was extremely heavy, and my pregnant wife was unable to open it by herself, so I had to help her every time she wanted to go outside. Overall, I would say that the location, view, and friendliness of the staff deserve 5 stars, but the cleanliness, maintenance, attention to detail, and overall comfort did not feel like a 5-star experience. This was a particularly special trip for us as it was our first wedding anniversary and our last trip before welcoming our first baby 😅, so we really hoped for a smoother and more memorable stay. The hotel has an excellent location, beautiful views, and genuinely friendly staff, but it clearly needs more care, maintenance, and attention to detail to deliver the level of experience that the property has the potential to offer. I honestly don’t know yet whether I would return, but I truly hope the management takes this feedback seriously because the place has everything it needs to be excellent.

I had a clogged bathroom while taking the shower it took ages for the water to drain which was not comfortable. Paying so much for staying and yet receving this, also the floor of the room wasnt clean properly and had a bad odour near the entrance of the door
