Nice modern hotel. Three comments, none too serious. First, only one lift and it is slow. Secondly, in my room, the shower head was not sealed and water was spraying onto the ceiling of the shower, then dripping down as cold water while showering - not ideal on a chilly Canberra Spring morning. And thirdly, there was a promise that the invoice would be emailed, but it wasn't.

This is my second time staying at the Sebel Campbell. The room had everything I really needed - I found the washing machine on the last day of my stay - but know now! As it’s a serviced apartment segmented in residential towers, do not expect full hotel amenities (no gym, pool etc). But it was perfect for me. I am a platinum Accor member, which despite on the booking didn’t register (not an uncommon issue) so my benefits I do not think were executed (although it might have been a full house!). This wasn’t an issue in the end as I got a little welcome amenity, but I don’t think my room was upgraded (first world problems). Bed is super comfy, the cleaning was excellent (sounds finicky but I’ve stayed in hotels where they had a 10% surface clean, think hairs in the bed and all sorts!). The lady on night duty this weekend (I do apologise for not noting her details), also checked me in last time I stayed and she was consistently sweet and had excellent customer service naturally. Some nice little options near bar for food and drinks also. If you want to have a clean, comfy, quiet stay (with a mini galley kitchen etc); I would very much recommend the Sebel Campbell. Thank you for having me!

I was initially quoted $183.20 for the room. When I got there to check in I was told $186z . Then on my credit card was $196.51 . Si was disappointed that my iriginal rate wasnt honoured

My 4 night stay at the Sebel was quite pleasant. The staff were lovely and welcoming. The room was exactly as pictured. It was well cleaned and organised. It unfortunately didn’t have any coat hangers, but when I asked the staff they delivered them within 20 minutes. The mini bar was well priced (for a mini bar) and re stocked daily. My main issue that I had was with the tv and the ability to cast anything to it or watch anything other than the channels provided. Now for a premium tier hotel in the Accor franchise I would have expected better. I note I did not bother staff with this. Finally whilst this hotel doesn’t have any food options the surrounding location of Campbell does have good food options from local cafes and restaurants to more quick take away in Pizza Hut and Asian noodle house. Overall 8/10 if the tv allowed casting 9/10.

My room was not up to standard. Missing light bulbs, faulty TV system, broken clothes rail, and over heated stuffy room. Was promised an upgrade with a balcony, but just got a room on a higher floor. My stay was poor and I wont stay again given the pricing and poor condition of the room. Staff were not that welcoming either

Rooms are comfortable and clean. Location is great if you want to be near the lake. The only downside is the mobile phone reception in the rooms is patchy.
