Have stayed at the Novotel before and that's why I booked it again. Great room, great view out into Bass Strait, very enjoyable. Breakfast was good with a good variety of food. Restaurant was good although the meal could have been hotter.

Well located, comfortable stay. Painful experience if you chose not to use the valet parking, you are required to park on the street or in the closest carpark and pay (valet parking expensive, considering they move the car 50ms and charge $25). Room service is great, although paying $6 for delivery, it should be free. On the docket- it also stated you could "tip" the waitress, being an Australian resident- this is unusual and more an "American" thing, so I didn't feel the need to tip. Paying $230 for one is already very pricey. Biscuits would be nice to have as a free snack with the coffee and tea provided. Rubbish bin liners need to be available in the room.

Very good Hotel, the rooms were well appointed and the bedding comfortable. Nice bathrooms. If anything, the parking is the biggest challenge to drop off luggage and then only the option of Valet parking onsite, or parking down the street in a public carpark. Outside of that, very nice stay.

There was confusion regarding the breakfast. I had booked us to have the full buffet breakfast but the waitress at breakfast didn't know anything about it. The system needs improvement to reduce confusion. Also, when I checked in I was told breakfast was $25 which was included but we were then charged $35 each for breakfast.
