Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of. The room was nice, the hotel failed to mention the club was closed during the evening, it took me several days to realise there was a happy hour at the bar on the ground floor. I wasn’t acknowledged or treated like a diamond member.

The interior design is beautiful and tasteful. It's so Instagrammable as I expected. The receptionist who checked us in was so helpful and welcoming. We booked a suite and it is very spacious. We enjoyed having our meetings there. Only a short distance from Nanjing Pedestrian Street. Delicious breakfast. We will definitely go back!

Parking available on top. But apparently my car is clearly not worthy. Whatever. I park underground, then some dude asks me in the absolutely rudest way possible. Even calling me “bro”. This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had in all 150+ nights in Accor hotels. The reception was no better. Slow. Rude. Unhelpful. Concierge was alright. Best was the lady opening the front door. Smiling, professional and friendly. The management level of this hotel really needs to learn to not be so snobby.

Overall I'm quite disappointed at this Sofitel service level where I've gotten way better services at other Accor hotels. * Room - overall comfortable layout; the housekeeping was overall okay, attentive to our needs only if we request * Breakfast - the food quality was inconsistent throughout our 7 night stay; the barista is a plus point, good coffee and latte art * Concierge - very friendly and helpful * Reception - inconsistent service level; during checkout they just came to take my cards for express checkout without checking with me for any additional help needed. I complained that the door was locked even before 12pm (and as gold member they didnt offer to extend my checkout time), they briefly told me the door system is outdated. Then I complained that there were cigarette buds right at the lift lobby, they told me they will look into it + i told them i smelled cigarette throughout my stay, they didn't respond to me.

The App shows this property as 5star but it is not. This is wrong marketing. Also promoted Club lounge which is not operational. Breakfast is limited. Clean and quite hotel but not Sofitel like.

We stayed at the hotel in the Suite for two nights. The hotel is nearly brand new. Good facilities and amenities for skincare. We love it. The breakfast selection is fantastic. The only downside is the lounge isn’t open. It has been relocated to the lobby bar. The hotel is a bit far away from metro and bus. We can call taxi or DiDi. But we had a wonderful stay at the room. Somehow the hotel water isn’t hot enough. It is a bit difficult to enjoy the bath.

I was a dissapointed as during my stay ( we booked 8 rooms ans stayed 3 nights) ....as a Platinum Accor member i was asked continuoulsy to top up payment(my rroms where all prepaid) ....in all Sofitel/Novotel hotels I stay at in the world they never do this and as i pay on departure .......very uncomfoatable and paiful experience - I had the same issue at Sofitel Sunrich Guanzhou

Front desk staff friendly. What disappointed me most about my stay was the breakfast experience. First, when I arrived at the restaurant in the morning, many of the hot dishes (such as Chinese-style hot food) and cold items (like pickled vegetables and cured meat) were almost empty. I waited for a long time, but no refills were provided. When I leave still not refilled Secondly Another letdown was that this hotel does not offer takeaway coffee cups at all. In contrast, I have always received this service at four-star hotels like Novotel and Pullman.

Junn W. B. Families - Confirmed reviews ALL

Our first stay from (30-may to 2-Jun) was really awesome. Check in process made us feel appreciated as platinum member of Accor. Room upgrade was a nice gesture. Reception staff was very polite and friendly. Room was clean and spotless. Everything was nice. If there is one thing that we think can be improved about would be the F&B staff, really. It wasn’t bad. Just basic. Not something you’d expect from a five star luxury hotel. Staff was not pro-active. Most not smiling or friendly. Felt like they were just obliging. Even the F&B staff at Novotel (Clover) when we stayed there few days before, went above and beyond five stars. During our second stay from 4-Jun to 9-Jun, we were almost underwhelmed. Check in was just like a normal cashier transaction. Checked into a lower floor room with the same configuration (which we appreciate) but the toilet still had hair in the room. Obviously not cleaned properly. Water pressure in this room was also smaller than our first experience and we checked with reception about it after a night, in which they said they would have the engineer to go check for us and see if anything can be done. The said engineer, never turned up and we just lived with the low water pressure the next 5 nights. During this stay, we had to ask for an extra towel daily despite having on records that we have 3 persons in the room (with our Daughter). It’s just funny how we can call the housekeeping daily for it. And when they make up the room, they collect 3 bath towels but not once were we replaced with 3. It was always just 2. The bathroom floor had hair that was not vacuumed again. Seems like the Housekeeping at that level is of very different service level as our first stay (where we even had night turn-down) service. The corridors of the rooms were often plagued with smoke but I guess that was something we Could still live with as long as it’s not affecting our rooms. I just wished more staff can live up to the Sofitel 5 star luxury standards. Throughout both our stays, the only person who consistently provided 5 stars service was Jerry, at the concierge. He is super pro-active, remembered us, and always go above and beyond to assist us. He constantly checked if we needed any help at all, helped with reservations, suggestions and provided very helpful advice. I hope the hotel can reward him because he was by far the MVP during our stays.

The overall stay is very satisfactory. However, I only managed to find out after my stay that it was not eligible for Accor membership points accumulation. In addition, I have also made some spendings at the hotel and those are also not taken into account as well. I am just wondering why the hotel operates differently as compared to those in other countries when it comes to the loyalty program. Separately, I would like to specifically point out Mr Jerry who is attending the concierge desk. He is extremely helpful and attentive to my family's requests, 2 thumbs up for him!
