The welcome we got was very warm and every interaction with the staff was excellent. Enjoyed the location of the hotel with easy access to Dinan centre but away from the busyness. The room was described as having a balcony but it was actually just a big window that you couldn’t exit. Despite that the room and bathroom were a good size with a very comfortable bed.

Disappointed there is no longer a Restaurant. Hotel needs refreshing, corridor carpets need renewing and decor tired. We however enjoyed our stay in lovely Dinan

Arrived as usual after 10pm - Maria on reception so a smiling welcome and efficient check in. Quick unpack and a bottle of Malbec in the lounge . 2 days of rest - great breakfasts and afternoon drinks overlooking the river. Leah sorted the bill efficiently - a small error had occurred - left early Saturday morning. Great restful 3 days at our favourite hotel in France.

The first thing to mention is the superb staff. They really make booking in/out and during our stay, they are human, friendly, knowledgeable and amenable. Parking is superb, atmosphere is calm and friendly. Rooms are also excellent and food very, very nice.

We just live. Coming back to the Mercure Hotel, the car seems to know its way. We love all the different room types and we live thst you can push a button for the blackout blinds to come down and forces you to sleep longer. The staff are really friendly, we use the bar to have a cocktail outside on the terrace, it is just a shame that it is not utilised more as it is a fantastic location watch the world go by. Love love love it

Friendly, helpful staff. We had an issue with the air conditioning, which after a little persuading we moved rooms! Checking in online doesn’t speed up the process of checking in or the availability of your room! We felt more staff were needed!
