Great experience except the front desk was a bit rude in making me put my luggage for storage on my own when they could have done it as it is their job. Other hotels would simply do it for you. Very rude.

The room itself was ok but there was no fridge, ironing board and iron and the air conditioner didn’t manage to cool down the room in 24 hours.

Regarding the fridge: as part of our budget hotel concept, our rooms don't include a fridge or minibar, which helps us keep our rates attractive. As for the iron and ironing board, these aren't placed in the rooms for fire safety reasons — however, we do have a shared ironing room available in the basement that all guests are welcome to use. We're sorry to hear that the air conditioning wasn't able to cool the room down over such a long period — that's not what we'd expect, even accounting for how the system works, and we'd encourage reaching out to reception directly next time so the unit can be checked and, if needed, another room arranged right away. Overall okay but i was annoyed at the girl at the reception her writing the room number was not clear so we had to go back downstairs to verify the room and she put as at the farthest room and it was a long walk to our room with out big luggages everytime! The bed is also so close together

The location is great and the staff is nice and accommodating. However, I am allergic to dust mites, and my allergies were triggered throughout my stay. Not sure if it’s the carpeting. Also, the moss wall piece by the elevators had a very unpleasant smell.

I had reserved for three nights, the nigt I arrived I requested to add one more night. The clerk told me it was available and added at the same rate as my reservation. On the forth day I returned to my room after breakfast but was locked out of my room with all my stuff in it. Went down and was told I had not paid. Well, why did you not charge my credit card. No explaination. So, they charged my credit card at the same rate and issued another key. Within minutes I got a message from my bank: My account was charged 60% more than the rate I had paid for previous nights. I returned to the counter, they said well that was the rate. They spoke to the manager but did not change mr rate. I went to your web site and it showed the same rate as my original for the same hotel. I showed it to the clerks at the counter. They still did not change. So, I will not stay at IBIS any more.

I chose this hotel because of the great location. It’s right across the street from the main transit station and easy to get to the main sites from here. The hotel itself is relatively clean but had a very unappealing odour as soon as stepping into the main lobby. There is complimentary coffee, tea and cold water available in the lobby.
