This was my second stay at this hotel and it was much better than my first stay (when I encountered two unhelpful members of staff, which is very unusual at an Ibis hotel.) My stay this week was excellent - the bed, especially the pillows, were extremely comfortable. I enjoyed the variety of foods available at breakfast and my only criticism is there was no marmalade! Everything was fresh and appealing. I was able to keep my room at comfortable temperature and had two very good nights' sleep. The hotel is at a convenient distance from the tube station and bus stops which is important.

The hotel was very cheap for London so I wasn't sure what to expect. The positives were it was really close to the tube station, the staff were polite and friendly, it was spotlessly clean and the shower had great water pressure. The only reason I didn't give it a perfect rating was that the bathroom door stuck and was impossible to close without slamming loudly. So that we didn't upset our neighbours during the night with a slamming door we had to use it with the door left slightly ajar. Otherwise, it was overall still good value for money.

Staff were friendly. The room was spacious and surprisingly quiet given the location. One of the lights had a loose bulb, but this was easy to fix. Breakfast wasn't quite upto normal Ibis standards. Good value for money.
