Our stay was absolutely amazing and everything was at an exceptionally high standard. The hotel is beautiful and modern, the room was fantastic, and the entire staff was very friendly and professional. What impressed us most, however, was the gentleman who took care of us upon arrival. He took care of our car, helped us with our luggage and even brought our suitcases all the way up to our room. His service was genuinely exceptional and made us feel welcome from the very first moment. It is exactly this kind of personal attention that makes a great hotel truly special. I informed the hotel in advance that we were celebrating my husband’s birthday and kindly asked whether they could make our stay a little special. Unfortunately, this was completely overlooked—there was no acknowledgement or even a simple birthday note. Overall, the experience felt very basic, generic and impersonal, especially considering the hotel’s positioning and price.

Great stay in Vienna with our family. Staff at the hotel were super friendly. We had reserved two rooms, one was “upgraded” to junior suite since we paid with Amex. Junior suite room, to our surprise was extremely dark, lights were so dim I had to use my phone’s flash light to get things out of the suitcase. It looked more like a depressing box. I think the design, while it might suit some people felt extremely minimalist and dark for a hotel room. If you do advertise this as an upgrade I would at least suggest disclosing the facts about the room design so your guests can decide. I didn’t enjoy coming to that room after a long day, I would have preferred a bright and airy room with great city views.

Didn’t feel that welcomed. I needed an adapter to use my hairdryer. I had to come down to the lobby with white hair for them to give me the adapter. In addition they put a €50 hold for it and I’m pretty sure it only cost a euro.

Awesome views, but room was very dark and dysfunctional. Monochromatic medium gray with inadequate lighting. No nightstands but a hard to reach shelf behind and above the bed. No where to hang towels near the shower (hooks were provided outside the bathroom). Needed a flashlight to read and change thermostat. Very firm beds - a positive for some, a negative for others.

Experience was good not great. After being told our room would be ready in 30 minutes - it was not ready for 2+ hours. (We did receive a drink voucher) The rooftop bar was closed and the lobby bar was kind of lame.

Last time I stayed here was for my honeymoon, and this time, I chose to stay here again while on a business trip to Europe. Above all, the design and planning by Jean Nouvel are beautiful, and the amenities are excellent. The sunrise from the Ferris wheel view room is exceptional. The men who assist guests at the door are always kind and treat me with great care, even though I'm Asian and look young, which I really appreciate.
