We had a 4 night stay at Sebel Twin Waters and could not recommend it enough. The property, room, facilities and amenities were fantastic. All the staff were friendly and so easy going. Such a great spot for families with easy access to the beach and lots of concrete walking trails. Also easy to get to Novotel for a drink but was easy escape the busy resort back to the peaceful Sebel.

This is the second time I've stayed here. It's a really nice and quiet location. Not really walking distance to shops, but I choose to stay here to get away from all the noise and traffic. The staff at the desk are super friendly and happy to help. I must say, being able to use some of the amenities at the novotel across the lake is why I give this place 10/10. If one day the novotel stopped the sebel customers from using their amenities, the sebel would definitely have to provide similar things otherwise there just wouldn't be anything to do.

Unit was well looked after would definitely come back . The resort staff at Novotel told us we couldn’t use the pool and spa. We did anyway. We were told we could use all the facilities . Assuming that meant their pool. Kids had a ball. Way prefer the units to the Novotel.

We had booked for 3 nights at Novotel Twin Waters to visit a sick relative up here. A late change in circumstances meant we had to come up 3 days sooner. Could only get 2 extra nights at Novotel …. Fully booked on 3rd night, so we opted for 1 night at The Sebel across the lagoon. Wow, what a gem. We come up here for 2 weeks each year for our annual beach holiday, usually staying in Mooloolaba in a 2 br sc apartment. Will be looking at The Sebel Twin Waters going forward. Great range of apartment options, spacious, very well equipped apartments, quiet & private location… close to dining options at Novotel or down at Mudjimba Beach, with lagoon or beach swimming options for kids…… and very close to airport.Ticks all the boxes we want for our longer stay holiday.

There were problems with our apartment. Upon walking into the ensuite, there was an overwhelming smell of mould and mildew. There was visible mould against the vanity that I had wiped down with baby wipes. It reduced some of the smell, but not entirely. On our first night, we rolled down the blinds in the second bedroom, and came back to the entire blind on the floor. We had a look and it was held up with elastoplast bandages. I tried ringing reception that evening, but there was no answer. I came back to reception the next morning to see Diana who had apologised and said that maintenance would not be available until Monday. She confirmed my number with me and said that someone would contact me that day with compensation - we just wanted it fix or covered. I did not receive any phone call during our stay and was told on Monday upon check out that there may have been a misunderstanding. We stayed for 3 nights and had no blockout blind in that bedroom at all, and was not offered any solution. Lastly, at checkout, there were two staff members at the reception desk. Neither one of them greeted myself and my husband. I said I was there to checkout, and the younger staff member looked at me, and offered her hands to receive the keys, with 'okay'. It was awkward and uncomfortable, and not to par for a 4 star hotel. No receipt or statement of our stay was offered. I raised the issue of the blinds, to which the other staff member said they were aware and that it would be looked at today - but that too late for our stay. Overall, a very disappointing weekend for us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Unit 71. Access and space was good for my wife who has mobility issues and uses a wheelie walker. However we both found the dining room chairs were very uncomfortable.

Great location across from the beach and a special Property. Walking around the property, kangaroos and Bird life could be seen everywhere, great experience for young families. A unique Property due to it’s size, with expansive grounds.

Lovely peaceful stay in a well appointed 2 bedroom unit. Loved that we had access to the Novotel activities (excluding the pool). Lovely walking around the property each morning.

The upgrade was nice but the oven not working was a bit annoying. We had booed the apartments so we could cook as needed and this wasn’t ideal.

We enjoyed our stay at the Sebel. It was a great location and very spacious rooms. Our house was a little dated, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again next time we are travelling to the Sunshine Coast.
