We had a group that stayed at your hotel. We asked for our bags to be held at bag check and kept separate from other bags being checked. That didn't happen, so our staff and a member of the Sofitel team spent an hour sorting luggage for about 30 people. After the luggage was loaded and we reached our destination, three pieces of luggage provided to our group did not belong to us. We called the hotel and were asked to wait with the luggage until they could pick it up. We were departing on a train and couldn't wait with the luggage, so we did our best to find a solution to return it to the people whose luggage had been given to our group by mistake. There was no apology. I felt terrible for the people whose luggage was misplaced. I would never stay here again because of the lack of care they showed with their guests' luggage.

Missing all of the things that make 5 star experience worth paying the extra money when you can stay at a 3 or 4 star for much less in the same area. Uncomfortable beds, no service despite proper door tag, room service dishes sit in hallway for two days, room backed to elevator bank so noise was an issue all night, no view, room was dated and needed a good scrub.

Arrived Friday night into Saturday, the front desk welcomed us but did not mention that late check out is on request and not given to AMEX reservations. We went down for breakfast the next morning and was told that the $100 credit did not apply towards valet We tried room service but that never available at the time we needed it. 3 of the gym equipment was broken. Finally, upon checking out, a $120 charge was added without any explanation as to why or what the reason was. This was by far the worst hotel experience in my lifetime. Never booking here again.

We had a group that stayed at your hotel. We asked for our bags to be held at bag check and kept separate from other bags being checked. That didn't happen, so our staff and a member of the Sofitel team spent an hour sorting luggage for about 30 people. After the luggage was loaded and we reached our destination, three pieces of luggage provided to our group did not belong to us. We called the hotel and were asked to wait with the luggage until they could pick it up. We were departing on a train and couldn't wait with the luggage, so we did our best to find a solution to return it to the people whose luggage had been given to our group by mistake. There was no apology. I felt terrible for the people whose luggage was misplaced. I would never stay here again because of the lack of care they showed with their guests' luggage.

I really would recommend this hotel if you're looking for a central hotel. Right around the corner, a 5min walk is the White House. Its also close enough to walk to other great sight seeing places,including the hop on and off bus station. The food was amazing as we jad breakfast included in our package and the staff is so incredibly polite,helpful and all round professional.

Service was great, the lobby is well done and cool but outside of a gym there really isnt much to it and the restaurant is closed a lot.

We were highly disappointed with our stay due to a severe bedding issue that impacted our entire trip. From our initial check-in, we felt constant, uncomfortable poking while in the king-size bed. On Friday night, we finally lifted the sheets and discovered the cause: tons of sharp, pin-pointed feathers piercing through the bedding. We called the front desk at 1:00 AM, and while they provided a new room, the handling of the situation was incredibly inconvenient. We were forced to check out of our current room and pack up all of our luggage to move it to the new room in the middle of the night—even though we were checking out just a few hours later that morning—instead of simply being allowed to sleep in the new room. Because this issue ruined our comfort for the duration of our stay and caused a major disruption on our final night, I am requesting a full refund or a reasonable financial resolution.
