Our rooms do have a traditional style that some guests find a touch dated, and we understand your feelings. We also regret the trouble you had finding our car park. Our hotel is situated within Ghent’s circulation plan, so guests need to register their licence plate in advance to access the area smoothly. For future reference, we always recommend booking a parking space through our own website, and our reception team is happy to provide clear directions and the exit token you need. Great location in the heart of the city centre. The staff were lovely and welcoming, especially Martha, who made our check-in easy. The room was a good size for a couple, with a comfortable bed, and we particularly enjoyed the complimentary use of the spa. This is a well located hotel for sightseeing in Gent. The staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel room was basic but clean. Although the bed sheet had small holes. I wouldn’t expect that at the price point for the room.

Ac was not working. Also, it was not informed earlier to us. For welcome drinks, the staff did not explain the options. The access to hotel is via a back alley which isnt safe at night.

We had a great stay a the novotel. Location was right in the centre, we made use of the pool on a very hot day which was a nice break. Excellent breakfast with under16s eating free. Is looking a bit dated but overall an excellent stay

Had an Exec Room on the 4th floor. Good room size, and comfortable bed. Safe didn’t work and staff unable to fix, which was annoying but the bigger problem was noise from outside through the night. We overlooked a bar called Publika, which was open until 3am on Fri & Saturday nights, so difficult to sleep with all the noise. I would stay in this hotel again, but be sure to request a room that is not on the side of Publika.

This is a central location, beside the cathedral but not noisy. It's extremely convenient for many parts of the city, with a selection of good, inexpensive restaurants and cafes nearby (and the hotel bar also does a range of convenient snacks, pasta and so on. Very comfortable, not over-expensive and lovely staff.

My room was comfortable and well equipped with Nespresso machine and refrigerator. I had a great view of St Nicholas church. Great to have a swimming pool and ‘beach’ and the sauna and steam bath.

Good, comfortable hotel with a large room, in a very central location

Airco didn't work, need to open the window all night long but lot of noise coming from outside ==> difficult to sleep well. The mattress was too soft. not enough fruits at the breakfast buffet
