I felt the hotel did not meet my expectation based on the online hotel description. While the rooms were clean, they were small, very basic and appeared worn. I was very put off by the fact when I pulled the duvet cover back the mattress topper had a fitted sheet but I could see a dirty box springs underneath. The shower head could not be adjusted to spray me but rather kept twisting to spray the wall, so I had to hold it the entire time I showered. Your staff was very nice and helpful. But, the hotel itself is subpar. I would not stay there again.

Hotel, staff, location all great. Only thing is a couple of hooks in the room (maybe by the door) to hang coats etc on as space is limited. Also better to have the hairdryer in the room not the bathroom.

Great location, lovely staff, nice and clean. We appreciated the water machine in the foyer too, as well as easy access with a wheelchair. However, bed was very uncomfortable and the polyester mattress protector was horrid to sleep on. I hardly slept due to the awful bed. The instant coffee in the room was disgusting. We were supposed to have coffee machine, bottle of water and an armchair but none of these were in our room.

I felt the tension from a long trip release as soon as I walked in the hotel. Friendly staff and fun yet relaxing atmosphere combined for a nice trip. The room was a nice size with a view of the canal.

The staff was very friendly and spoke English very well, and very helpful and accommodating. Gave us great recommendations to restaurants and held our luggage so we could look around the city longer after checkout.

It was extremely loud, the bathroom was run down, old and dirty. You didn’t want to touch anything really. Breakfast was horrible with undercooked eggs and slimy scrambled eggs. Location is the only plus.

Cleanliness is usually one of the strong points of our hotel, so we are especially disappointed to hear about your experience. Regarding breakfast, we are also sorry that you were dissatisfied with the quality, particularly the eggs and scrambled eggs. This is clearly not the level of quality we aim to provide. We will review this with our breakfast team to ensure greater attention is paid to the preparation and presentation of the hot food. As for the noise, our hotel is located in the heart of Annecy’s old town, in a lively and busy area, which can unfortunately lead to some noise at certain times. We regret that this affected your stay so significantly. Should you experience any disturbance, our reception is open 24 hours a day and our team is always available to assist and intervene whenever possible. Finally, we are pleased that you appreciated our location, even though we regret that, according to your experience, it was the only positive aspect of your stay. I stayed in annecy for one night, hotel is a perfect location from old town and everything is basically within 15 minutes walk, my room looked out onto the river which was lovely, good size room with everything you needed
